Yash Raj Films’ latest spy thriller ‘Pathaan’ has crossed the 200 crore mark in four days, becoming the fastest Hindi film to enter the Rs 200 club.
Directed by Siddharth Anand, the film stars Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone with a guest appearance from Salman Khan.
According to trade predictions, the movie is expected to earn more than Rs 45 crore on its opening day – one of the highest openings ever for any Hindi film.
According to Yash Raj Films, the film has broken 21 box office records. It boasts an exciting spy story, thrilling chase sequences, stunning locations, celebrity cameos and chart-topping music.
After experiencing a dip on Friday, ‘Pathaan’ has seen an uptick with strong numbers on Saturday and is expected to cross the 50 crore mark for a third time. With five days left in its run, it could collect anywhere between Rs 270 or 275 crore in total revenue.
