Munster Rugby have joined forces with adidas to introduce a brand-new home kit for the coming season. The men’s team will don it for the first time against Bath at Thomond Park on Saturday, September 4th at 3pm; while the women’s side will debut the strip in their Interprovincial Championship opener away to Ulster on August 28th.
Home Jersey
The Home Jersey is an expression of Munster’s proud heritage, featuring interwoven crown graphics which link to the provincial coat of arms and classic copper trim – symbolizing strength from within Munster’s own soil.
The club motto, ‘To the Brave and Faithful Nothing is Impossible’, is embroided into the inside neck of the jersey. Paired with antler tapestries in tribute to Munster stag, these details symbolize bravery, determination, fearsome territorialism.
This player fit jersey is engineered with adidas PRIMEGREEN technology, a blend of high-performance recycled materials. With fewer seams, it’s designed to flex with every tackle and pass while keeping you light on the field.
Training Jersey
No matter if you’re hitting the pitch or watching your team in action, get ready for the match with this Munster Rugby training jersey. Featuring a bold graphic on the body with red 3 Stripes and trim on the sleeves, this iconic look will keep you motivated throughout this iconic 18/19 season.
Life Style Sports, the Official Retail Partner of Munster Rugby, has launched the digital season-long campaign #LiveMunster. Through this sponsorship platform, Life Style Sports hopes to capture and celebrate the passion, pride, commitment and ambition that makes Munster supporters stand out.
The club’s new training range showcases their iconic crest with interwoven crown graphics and a subtle hoop design for a more premium feel for fans of the province. Furthermore, it is made with high-performance recycled materials that put sustainability at the heart of design.
Alternate Jersey
Munster Rugby Lifestyle Sports has joined forces with adidas to launch the club’s 2022/23 Alternate jersey, which can be pre-ordered from Life Style Sports beginning next week.
The alternate jersey for Manchester United is a bold and striking departure from their regular home and away kits. The club logo has been reimagined with an onyx-colored scheme that stands in stark contrast to the team’s signature red and white colors.
Training Shorts
Training shorts are the ideal choice for running, fitness classes and other activities that don’t require you to squint in the sun. They also make great everyday wear if you need something a bit more comfortable than your typical sports short.
For gym workouts, the ideal shorts should be made of lightweight synthetic material with plenty of stretch. Not only are these easy to move in, but it’s wise to select one that can handle heavy weightlifting as well.
These shorts boast a durable blend of recycled polyester and mesh inserts for breathability. They come in six stylish colors – river/azure or above – as part of adidas’ Primegreen program which seeks to phase out virgin polyester by 2024.
Training Socks
These training socks were created with Munster in mind to keep your feet cool and comfortable on the sidelines or during training sessions. Crafted from a soft yet supportive fabric, these socks feature the team crest as well as other details.
The crest consists of three gold crowns on a navy field. It was inspired by the Munster stag, an animal which in Irish folklore serves as a sign of loyalty and protection.
The club crest also includes the motto ‘To the Brave and Faithful nothing is impossible’ which is taken from one of Munster’s families. This was also featured on a special jersey Munster wore for their European Cup clash against Saracens in December 2012. Additionally, both adidas Munster home and alternate kits bear a close connection to six counties within Munster: Clare, Cork, Kerry, Limerick, Tipperary and Waterford through tartan design elements.
